Joey Taute is a second-generation realtor with a decade of real estate experience and 20 years of business management experience behind him. He grew up learning the ins and outs of renovations and construction management through his father’s custom home building company — a foundation that gives him a builder’s eye for value, quality, and potential in every property he shows.

A born-and-raised Austinite, Joey is deeply passionate about the Austin market and knows the city inside and out. He especially enjoys guiding first-time homebuyers through the process with patience and clarity, and loves partnering with investors to track down the best investment opportunities. As a husband and father, Joey also brings firsthand insight into family life, helping clients navigate the nuances of Austin’s suburbs and school districts to find the right fit for their family.

Joey is married to his college sweetheart, Shauna, and together they’re raising three active kids. When he’s not working, you’ll find him on the golf course — he runs the weekly golf scramble at Crystal Falls and caddies for his kids at their Junior PGA tournaments. He’s also a youth rugby coach with the Austin Blacks, and loves exploring Austin’s ever-evolving food scene.
